The guy has a good history. Hell of a deal if it is on the up and up.

I'd expect it to shoot up in price at the end... seems like I'm always chasing these deals and then.... it shoots up in bids at the end.

 

At a quick glance , it looks really nice. you have to love those 535s.

Know that feeling. That's exactly what happened with the first ever attempt to buy a Heritage H555 - I thought I had it then .... I got discouraged but found a H535 at an importer of second hand American guitars so in the end I managed to avoid the auction thing with all it's snipers and uncertainty.

How good a deal ? depends on how close you are to Auburn, OZ I suppose.

 

sometimes its just timing wit the good deals. they do still happen, especially on short auctions.

Dont really like the colour. That and tbh Ive got more gear than I know what to do with. Just plain GASless.

I want a tele style guitar more than any thing really and even thats on the "meh, whatever" list. I play acoustic gigs on a borrowed guitar.

 

If it was a more earthy type burst I would probably think about it. Im still going to watch this with an impartial interest though.

I'm not really in a position to bid on anything for a year or two. Anyway, I hope it went to a good home.
