peterbright Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Picked her up this afternoon. Has a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge.
peterbright Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 It sounds hugh and plays like a dream. It is heavier than I expected.
FredZepp Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 It was worth the wait... That is a sweet guitar. You must be pleased with the results....
peterbright Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 I'm very pleased by the work done by luthier Doug Holt (formerly of Nashville) who lives just a few miles away. He changed out the pot, capacitor & jack as well.
smurph1 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Picked her up this afternoon. Has a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge. WOW!! That is Freakin Cool!! Never seen that Color!! Congrats!! It's a bolt on to Boot!! Wow!!
FredZepp Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 WOW!! That is Freakin Cool!! Never seen that Color!! Congrats!! It's a bolt on to Boot!! Wow!! I agree ... that color came out perfect. And the nice looking Maple on the neck just goes to show that there's never been a bad stick of wood to come out of Heritage.
DC Ron Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 I agree ... that color came out perfect. And the nice looking Maple on the neck just goes to show that there's never been a bad stick of wood to come out of Heritage. Nice rosewood on that board, too. NICE!
peterbright Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 Definately likes the Orange Mini Terror best
barrymclark Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Slickest 120 I've seen yet, I think! Why do I want banana pudding alluva sudden? Like the natural finish on the back of the neck.
tulk1 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 What's the little cut-out looking thing in front of the pickup? That guitar looks sweet.
barrymclark Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 What's the little cut-out looking thing in front of the pickup? That guitar looks sweet. I believe that was for the original pickup. I forgot what they were but they had another screw up front where that cutout is. I bet Brent remembers what those pickups are.
peterbright Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 It was for some type of adjustment for the original pickup. The SD Custom Custom appears to tame the brightness of the all maple body.
barrymclark Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Funny enough, the H120 was one of those guitars I wouldn't getting my hands on some day. I know they don't go for much used, but I just like them. I almost got in on one that I think Big Bob ended up getting. It had two pickups.
