Gitfiddler Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Brent, that is a mighty fine looking 535 coming to you! Every player needs at least one semi-hollow in their harem. Congrats.
Krohawk2 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 That looks like the HOG in Rochester, NY. House of Guitars
FredZepp Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Just found this picture of Brent's basement......... That is a good one.... ... and there are a bunch in that pic that I'd love to try out....
hiro Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Brent, I think there wasn't any "accidents" when Heritages were bought. Maybe if it was a different species of guitar, but not with Heritage kudos on the "krash / spill / drop"
schundog Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Holy Schnikes!! Very nice. I don't know about the extra dealy-ma-bob switches (I'm a simple man!), but I love the finish, the block inlays and headstock binding! (OK, I'm not THAT simple! haha) Congratulations, Brent; What's the shortest time you've held on to one?! I'd like to see that one at PSP III, but I'm wondering if it will be yours by then....
brentrocks Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 I finally got it home tonight (had to drive up to UPS werehouse in kzoo to get it). Basicly just got it out of the case to photograph and check the electronics. It made the trip from TX ok...eventhough the box had a HUGE hole in it. I'm gonna need to do a string change and a fret polish, but everything seems to be in order. I should have some clips tomorrow.
fxdx99 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Oh yeh - NICE! Has the blocks just like you like 'em. Congrats on another beauty, Brent! Is that VIP with SD pickups?
golferwave Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 A real KILLER Brent!! You did good on that one and the price was what we all dream about. Congrats!!
pegleg32 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 That is a beauty, looks like it is time to mow the grass and get ready for another one!!
brentrocks Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 Oh yeh - NICE! Has the blocks just like you like 'em. Congrats on another beauty, Brent! Is that VIP with SD pickups? Thanks Randy! i'm gonna pull the neck pup out tomorrow and check, but i think they are SDs
FredZepp Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 That one is delicious... It is really a captivating top on that. Just an all around excellent example of a Heritage .
schundog Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Can I request the right of first refusal if and when you decide to part with that one?!
