golferwave Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 OK gang...for your Monday morning approval, here's my 2004 almondburst H-150CM with Manlius Hot Rod 59 pickups, CTS 500k pots, grey tiger .022uF - 400v PIO caps, 50's wiring, and bone nut. Enjoy and have a great day!
fxdx99 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Another fine fine guitar there, Scott. So... guess you're sold on the 50s wiring, eh? Once I get beyond all the spring projects I'm gonna try that out.

ronalr Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I think this is my favorite so far.....all sweet and cool pictures
FredZepp Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Forgive my ignorance, but what is "50s wiring" and how does it differ from current wiring? Thanks Here's some really good detailing of 50's wiring.... HOC 50's wiring..
FredZepp Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Wow , that is another sweet Heritage. You do know how to pick 'em. And always some tasteful upgrades also. Already I am thinking ahead to the Heritage group shot of these.... it promises to be nice...
Kuz Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Wow, this pic helped me make it through the first day of the work week. Keep them coming Scott!
smurph1 Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 hot Damn!! I'm moving up from a drool cup to a Drool Bucket!!
golferwave Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 Very cool...do you do all your own wiring? I've never gotten along very well with any soldering iron Brent so I let those that have tamed them do the wiring, usually when I have the guitar in for the bone nut changeout.

Once I get beyond all the spring projects I'm gonna try that out. It makes the pots more responsive Randy. The way I understand it is the current goes through the pots instead of around them. Maybe someone else can explain it better but it works.
koula901 Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Bea-u-ti-ful!! Thanks for showing these pics. I have a 150 CM on order - exact same color. Can't wait!!
