My 2009 H-150CM with Lollar Mini-Humbuckers, 500k pots, PIO caps, 50's wiring, and bone nut. Hope you all have a great day!

Thanks Scott!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of cherryburst finishes have that clownburst look...tough to get that color to look rich and finished, I think. Pretty curl here, too! This one is gorgeous, Scott! Lots of fun viewing the 150's this week! Thanks....

That one is a beauty also...

The grain on the top came out really nice.

And the minis add another variation to the arsenal ... cool

so, what are your thoughts on the mini humbuckers?

The guitar is pretty much a clone of the LP Deluxe but the Lollars are punchier than the stock Deluxe mini hums. I'm not sure if they're wound a little hotter or not but they have that something extra over the Gbrand pups.

Do you upgrade the nuts yourself?

Not I. My tech/luthier does them. I stick to playin em.

Kinda cheeky asking a guy about his nuts, don't you think?

Just comparing nuts notes!

i have never played mini humms...are they like a p-90 on steroids?

The ones that I have played have been like a bright humbucker.. and with a more airy , open sound because of the increased treble range.

Actually , the ones that I've played.. now that I think about it, were stock Gibbons from the 70's, ....

I have no doubt that Lollars would sound better still.....

Honestly, the more I look at that the more it "speaks" to me.

What a nice looking (and I bet sounding) guitar.
