Eric Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 I have a line on what I think might be an H-150 Special. One thing that is obvious is that it has dot fret markers instead of the regular inlays. I'm hoping someone here might be able to tell me if there are any other differences between a "Special" and the "regular" H-150... Thanks much in advance for any knowledge that you can share...
golferwave Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 The Special has a thinner body and is lighter. The body is listed as made from hardwood as opposed to mahogany. The neck is mahogany and it has a maple top. They're great guitars and if the one you're looking a is in good condition you can't go wrong.
brentrocks Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 the H 150 P P stands for poplar body...great guitars....hopefull you can snag it for around $800?
Eric Posted May 26, 2010 Author Posted May 26, 2010 the H 150 P P stands for poplar body...great guitars....hopefull you can snag it for around $800? The seller wants 1K plus shipping for it which seemed a bit high (although from the photos it looked extremely clean). If anyone should know what market price should be it would most likely be you... Thanks, Eric
