MuDBoNe Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Hi all, I just bought a Faber ABRN bridge to replace my Schaller roller bridge. The Faber bridge is a direct replacement for any Nashville spaced bridge. I am wondering about the posts. My original posts don't go all the way through the bridge. Should they be longer? Is there a post that will thread directly in that is the correct fit?
tbonesullivan Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 well.. see if the posts screw into the bushings. I do not know what the size/thread of the schaller bushings are unfortunately, but they made Gibson's hardware for a good number of years, so the Faber may be compatible.
mars_hall Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Get these http://www.cvgshop.com/Faber-Parts-NSWKIT-...ltm80k64a2joge5 BTW, here's the Schaller spec for what you have http://gitarrenstege.de/download/CY2b527a4...8f14b65c7XY6224
mars_hall Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 The metric ones here may work, but use your own judgement http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/gbridge_studs.htm
