Ray Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Currently looking at a guitar that has been described as Heritage Eagle Deluxe (2002 model) and I was wondering whether anyone here can tell me what the difference is between Eagle and Eagle Deluxe. Thank you in advance for your comments.
Jazzpunk Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 What are the specs on the particular guitar you are looking at?
Ray Posted June 16, 2010 Author Posted June 16, 2010 What are the specs on the particular guitar you are looking at? I do not have a picture or full details but it is right handed and similar to the guitar in the attached photo with the following features - : • Fretboard - 20 fret bound ebony or rosewood board with block MOP inlay, 12" radius • The neck joins the body at the 14 fret • Binding – Ivoroid (apparently) • Bridge - Adjustable Rosewood • Scale Length – 25 1/2" • Width at Nut - 1 11/16" • Width at Saddle - 2 1/4" • Width Lower Bout - 17" • Width Upper Bout - 12" • Body Depth - 3" at the rim Thank you. Steiner Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Hey Ray - That looks to be an eagle. There's 3 Eagle models: 1) the Eagle, 2) The Eagle Classic and 3) The Golden Eagle. I would guess that it is a Classic Eagle simply because it has the proper binding and block inlays. Still a very nice guitar but costs less than the Golden Eagle with the cloud inlays. Have at thee!
Ray Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Thank you for your helpful information. Have a wondeful day.

I don't know what that is. The Classic doesn't have the inlays and the pups are mounted. At least the current ones are that way. I would NOT get this guitar. Someone put it together backwards.
yoslate Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 There's 3 Eagle models: 1) the Eagle, 2) The Eagle Classic and 3) The Golden Eagle. Gregg.... Uh...Super...?!

Steiner Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Missed the size restriction. I appreciate your keeping me honest. I, all too often, speed read too. Whew! Dodged that by a hair...
