Chicago Music Exchange . . . google them. They're the biggest . . . they're the best. If you do go, when you get there . . . talk up Heritage . . . the owners . . . the Parsons Street story. They've got hundreds of serious guitars hanging on their walls and not one Heritage. It's a travesty. They're only 4 hours away. If you're not familiar with the place . . . get ready for a real classy guitar experience. It's almost as great as sitting in the late Scott Chinery's living room.

Another place to check is in Evanston. There are actually two guitar "shops" there, Flynns and one on Main St., Guitarworks.

http://www.guitarworksltd.com/about.htm (and they DO have Heritages on the wall, unlike CMX which is beholden to G-brand and thus would have a big prob selling new Heritages, IMO.)

disclaimer: I have never had either shops repair any of my stuff or set it up, but have been to both places, got good vibes.

You might also give Bob Moggio at Mojo's Music a call. He's a Heritage dealer located in Edwardsville, IL and knows about us zealots here on the HOC.

Bob takes special care of HOC members.

Tim Schroeder, hands down in Chicago. He is in the same building as Make n music on Hubbard.

He has done work on three of Alicia's guitars, and we were very happy.
