Editors Picks .. Summer NAMM 2010

Heritage Guitars Alex Skolnick H-150 Signature model

I'll give a listen or look at anything with Alex Skolnick's name attached to it and his Signature H-150 didn't disappoint. The Heritage Alex Skolnick Signature is built with precision and is pretty hefty since it constructed with a solid mahogany body and neck. It has a cream-bound carved ultra curly maple top with a matching headstock that bears Skolnick's John Hancock. It's loaded with Seymour Duncans--'59 neck, JB Jazz bridge. Now available as a production model at $3970.

Shouldn't Brent get some kind of inspiration fee for that one?

Look for Brent's fire sale to get his hands on 1 of those. Can't say I'd blame hin that sparkle finish rocks would like to see a 157 version.

I agree that Brent was the inspiration for that guitar. If I'm not mistaken I think the Heritage boys told him They'd never do a silverburst. Chime in Brent.

When i took Silverburst I down to Heritage Vince was very impressed with the overall look...and commented that it would make a nice LE someday.

that was almost 2 yrs ago...although i would like to think that i had some kind of influence on the 25th Ann H 140....i certainly dont expect any "royalty check :) " i just hope its a good seller for them. If it was offered with traps, i would consider buying one...i think if i asked they would do that? They are a custom shop :)

I liked the Silverburst with traps that I was lucky enough to play at PSP II... ( a 150P with upgraded neck , IIRC ) B)
