Murph Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Hey everybody I just joined the HOC. That 576 that didn't sell on ebay was mine. I just relisted, it opens tonight at 8:00pm PDT and runs till monday night at the same time. The starting bid is $799.00 and BIN for $1,799.00. If anyone has any questions or wants more pictures let me know. Also does anyone know how negotiable Wolfe Guitars prices are? Thanks, John Murphy.
Kuz Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Wolfe... not extremely negotiable, but call and find out. And didn't the BIN used to be $1499, or am I thinking of a different guitar?

Yeah I did bring it down to $1499 but no one even bid above $1000 that time. I think i just had the bidding end at bad times. Its now up for a third time with the BIN lower than what I had originally put it at.

Jazzpunk Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Thought your inquiry about Wolfe meant you were buying another Heritage but since you didn't respond I guess not.
Murph Posted June 26, 2010 Author Posted June 26, 2010 Thought your inquiry about Wolfe meant you were buying another Heritage but since you didn't respond I guess not. oh no sorry... I plan on buying a 555 but i didnt really wanna spend over 2200. Wolfe has a few nice looking ones but they're asking for 2500. They were telling me over the phone about this 535 they have with trapezoid inlays. I saw some pictures of that and it looks great. They were asking 2200 for that so thats a possibility. It really depends on how much i get for the 576. Murph

pcovers Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Doesn't the BIN option go away when the first bid is posted? I am not understanding the rational behind an opening bid of $799.00 and BIN for $1,799.00 when the BIN will go away when someone bids $801.

So even if the bidding gets up to 1790 or something someone can still BIN for 1799.

I see you have a reserve. That does make the difference. With a reserve, the BIN remains until reserve is met, without a reserve the BIN goes away after the first bid. Very nice guitar, there.
