Guest mgoetting Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 beautiful. root beer finish maybe? That sounds appropriate.
FredZepp Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 the tuning keys are audacious, the inlays are on acid. Yep , Grover Imperials for tuning keys and Abalone inlays.. pretty cool.
Guest mgoetting Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I put this side by side with a burnt amber. This is more of a root beer color. The neck is slighter fatter than my other Millis, but not too much. It is thinner than my H157. The guitar sounds really nice. But I can't honestly do much of a comparison. I'm using my Roland amp, with 10 billion settings, and still learning how to adjust tone. The f holes might make it a little louder acoustically, but you could say the same about a 535. It's inconsequential. Despite all this maple everywhere, it's not too bright. I am confident that it has not bolstered my playing skills. I still fumble all over the neck.
