Continuing on the Red archtop discussion...George Benson plays a full sized trans red GB200 sometimes.

 

Big red archtops like HOC member 5639's Johnny Smith are strikingly beautiful in person. Photos do not capture their true impact.

DO love the guitar, though. Am having my ACB H-550 refinished right now by a Heritage worker, on his own time. Will be a deep amber yellow. Congrats on the guitar! Am jealous; would love a JS someday.-Charley Bevell
