tulk1 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I guess no one liked my clouds idea? Eric, I like your clouds idea. Even if no one else does. ............. Dang, that is one big guitar!
Assumer Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Split. Just because I have no guitars with the split block and always wanted one.
RonD Posted July 1, 2010 Author Posted July 1, 2010 I guess no one liked my clouds idea? Oh sure... I make my mind up on the H 575, and you post THIS!!!
111518 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I like split blocks, and have them on two heritage archtops, but I'm with Gitfiddler ...just depends on the overall look of the guitar. Split blocks on a 24.75" scale/16" guitar, esp. if no bound headstock? I'm not so sure. Same with clouds, which I think are a cool tip of the hat to the Epi Kalamazoo tradition. If it has a spruce top ... then I like no inlays. So, I guess that leaves blocks or dots. Blocks if the whole guitar is "dressed"binding on headstock and fingerboard), dots if plain.
Kuz Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 My favorite inlays is probably the 555 inlays, but I don't think they would look right on a 575??!!!! VERY cool inlays though..... did I find a reason for posting a picture.....
