Differences between H550 and H575

These are what I think are the differences. Please add or correct. Thanks.

 

550 - 17" body

575 - 16"

 

550 - 25.5" scale

575 - 24.75"

 

550 - ebony

575 - rosewood

Woods otherwise the same

 

550 - anchored bridge

575 - not

 

550 - full inlays

575 - dots

Big difference is the 550 is laminated, 575 carved solid maple.

550 also has a maple neck, 575 mahogany

Just speculation, but seems to me, based on Heritage's number system, that the 575 is related to the 175, except of course that it is solid instead of laminated, and the 550 is related to the es-350, which was Gibson's laminated 17" guitar in the late 40s/50s, and survived in the thinline version (350T) into the 60s, and has been reissued several times since.

I missed a big one. 550 - 3" body, 575 - 2.75 " body
