After a week of play....

First, that guitar (the 575) is just sick.

I can't describe it. Just believe that it is an amazing guitar.

Anyways, the thing that has really got me rev'ed up is the Seth Lover pickups. I had always heard good things about them but had never personally experience them.

After a week of play, I can now say that I get it.

The calm down to the point where you can really play some great jazz though it. When you turn up the gain, you can really get it to growl too... but it has clarity!

I still like the Schallers just fine, but... I can see people wanting to change. If I ever just have extra money and am already doing some electrical work on it, it wouldn't bug me to make this particular change.

Speaking of which, my barrel jack is acting up. Not gonna change the pickups over that... but I am just saying. :o

I replaced the barrel jack in the Mille LE. It was loose with many of the plugs and would cut out. Its a cheap and easy fix, although I kept it with the barrel style. I also put an extra lock nut on the back so that it won't unscrew and get loose.

The Seth Lovers ARE great. Effortlessly produce the textures I need from jazz to blues. Can't imagine a better pickup (for me) or a better investment in a nice Heritage.
