yngwie308 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I contributed an article on Gary Moore's brief history with the Heritage Guitar Company for the Gary Moore Lord of the Strings fan site took some new shots of my Amber #55 and there are some older ones of my Almond burst #45, plus some live shots of Gary with his H150CM's: http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g219/dav...ber%20Heritage/ http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g219/dav...tage%20Guitars/ yngwie308
figuredtops Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Great looking Axe! Im a huge fan of Gary Moore!!! He hasn't played stateside in sometime, would enjoy seeing him perform here in the States!!! Jayme
squawken Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 My Gary Moore Heritage is my favorite Heritage that I own-so far.
figuredtops Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 My Gary Moore Heritage is my favorite Heritage that I own-so far. Cmon squuawken lets see them pics!!!
squawken Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Unfortunately the GM doesn't have any solo pics that it deserves at the moment
Rude Dog Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I seriously doubt this is gonna happen any time soon. Ronnie Montrose wants his burst back from Gary Moore, and if Moore comes to the States there's a reasonable chance he'd find himself embroiled in a another law suit state-side. Google their names together and you can find more info... He hasn't played stateside in sometime, would enjoy seeing him perform here in the States!!! Jayme
Mpcoluv Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Surely this has been resolved by now. I think the time elapsed has killed off Ronnie Montrose's chances. Especially if the police report does not contain the serial number.
Rude Dog Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I don't think anything's been resolved, including the issues you've mentioned. If Gary Moore steps foot in the US, particularly California - then the "can" may open back up, and those very issues settled - in court. Is Mr. Moore willing to take that chance - a lawsuit and the possibility of losing his burst? I can't answer for him. And I don't know enough to have an opinion one way or the other on any issues, but I don't see him coming this way anytime soon. Surely this has been resolved by now.I think the time elapsed has killed off Ronnie Montrose's chances. Especially if the police report does not contain the serial number.
Mpcoluv Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 With the value of current bursts, I can't see him risking it.
tulk1 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Cmon squuawken lets see them pics!!! Plenty of pictures of that very guitar in the Gallery.
squawken Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Thanks Kenny-didn't even think of that. My grass is too brown right now for pics
ledzef Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Did any of those Gary Moore models get shipped with the PJ Marxx pups he was using at the time?
squawken Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 I thought they all shipped with EMG's, but not positive. Brent swapped out to Alnico V's in this one before I bought-nice choice!
yngwie308 Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Only the H150CM's that Gary had prior to his signature model had PJ Marx pickups, all the 'production GM's had dual EMG 81's. And please I thought I was safe here, from all the comments about Stripe being stolen, ect. If you guys want to read all that crap, there are volumes of nasty threads over on The Les Paul Forum about how Gary is a thief, ect. Let's stay on topic GM Heritage guitars, please. here is my contribution to the GM forum, with my copied history of Heritage from their website, well it says it all, ect. http://www.garymoorefc.com/en/guitars_heritage yngwie308

pressure Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 There was a guitar store in Island Lake IL. in 1990 that had 2 Gary More signature guitars on the wall. He said he would not sell them. That store closed a long time ago and I don't know what happened to those guitars. This store also had 2 Johnny Smith guitars, 1 in natural finish and 1 in sunburst. I bought the sunburst guitar.
