FredZepp Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 And a very good looking 150 GT it is..... Mmmmm , it must be sweet to have that one ready to play..
Patrick Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 lookin' at new 150! regards, eljay p.s., upon viewing, i think i needed the tripod after all . . . You're a lot braver than I am, leaving that beautiful guitar leaning like that . . . and right next to a brick fireplace hearth.
t0aj15 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Beautius Maximus! Not for long, if he treats it like that.
big bob Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 You're a lot braver than I am, leaving that beautiful guitar leaning like that . . . and right next to a brick fireplace hearth. Must not have young children or pets... Looks great..
Patrick Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Must not have young children or pets... Looks great.. Yeah . . . . but I'm sure eljay has the same gravity issues as we do. Sometimes I'm just way too over the top cautious . . .. if that's possible. Probably just positioned there for a very short time to get the photo shot. It does look absolutely fantastic propped up against that vintage looking amp though . . . doesn't it??
Spectrum13 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Looks like the tubes are warmed up and ready to play.... Krannnnnng!
pegleg32 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Beautiful guitar and an excellent choice of the p90s on the gold top. Very classic.
Kuz Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 If you looked up the word "tone" in the dictionary it should have that picture (both guitar and amp)!!!!!
fxdx99 Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Cool - Goldilocks and her li'l dawg. Congrats on that fine beauty, LJ. And heh, no worries on the 'no-stand' (that IS the tripod you're referring to, right? ) Spent years leaning guit against the amp since a stand was just one more thing to bring. And shoot, my guitars didn't fall over more than a few dozen times in all those years... Mighta made a bit of a difference that it was one of them bolt neck, not angle headstock jobbies, tho.
eljay Posted July 27, 2010 Author Posted July 27, 2010 ^ ^ ^ ^ no, tripod as in the photographic sense. i gambled with gravity again, this time using tripod and special lighting: everybody and everything stayed vertical
Patrick Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 ^ ^ ^ ^no, tripod as in the photographic sense. i gambled with gravity again, this time using tripod and special lighting: everybody and everything stayed vertical Honestly, I liked the other shot better. It didn't appear to be a staged photo. It looked like more of an impromptu shot of your rig, just sitting there waiting for you. I think someone before me said it better . . . "tubes are all warmed up and ready".
FredZepp Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 'tis a thing of beauty .... and the affection of the owner comes through in the shots also. A Happy New Heritage Owner , for sure.
Thundersteel Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Looks like a good candidate for the 2011 calender!
