brentrocks
The H 525 arrived today via FedEx. I was chomping at the bit to unvail this bad boy! When i opened up the case i found a broken high E string, but that wasnt the surprise....in the storage unit, there was the build tag from Heritage! And the first thing i saw was 5 piece neck! So that got me excited. Flipped the guitar over to find a stinger and locking Spirzels AND...then saw that is was a custom rim thickness...2 3/4 VS the stock 1 5/8 525 rim. So i take her downstairs, new strings, fret polish, cleanup, etc....and the pics..... I'm headed down to give it a good spank....break in those new Pyramids Maybe some sound clips later????? brentrocks
Thanks for all the kind words guys! This guitar just friggin rips man!!! Clips.... http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/song_de...4?play_now=true http://www.reverbnation.com/artist/song_de...9?play_now=true The saga of this custom build get more interesting...i was looking at the label and it seems that this guitar was built for a Steve Kroczski????? I wonder why he traded it in to a guitar shop??? I know one thing that was probably really annoying, whenever you did a bend with the high E, the roller had bad threads and would vibrate and you would lose the note, so i replaced it (have plenty of spare schaller parts) AND although it has a graphite nut, the strings did hang up and it needed lube bad!!! After those lil "touchups" she is a ROCK N ROLL MACHINE!!!!

TalismanRich
That's one outstanding guitar. When you see something custom like that sometimes it's interesting to get the story behind it. Was it just some guy ordering something? Who was it and what's he playing today. That's too nice a guitar just to trade off for the heck of it. big bob
Again Sir Brentster you find a custom one off.. How do you do it.. I hope she gets along with the other children, and takes care of you when old age comes. Keep on Rocking..

There's a guy called Steve Kroczynski (not Kroczyski as per the guitar label) in a band called the New Horizons. Maybe him? Nice guitar - can't listen to the clips in work but looking forward to that later
