Guest mgoetting
I am J-E-A-L-O-U-S Wonderful beauty. I am happy for you Brent. I believe this may be about what you were thinking of. Beefy neck, P-90s, somewhere between 2.25 and 3 inches deep. Stunning guitar. You'd have to learn to use the Bigsby (unless you already know- and it is not easy to do it well!). Guest mgoetting
A Bigsby is like a wah-wah pedal- easy to use, hard to use well. I've been listening to David Paul lately. It wasn't really my style at first, but man is he good. He's got the delicate touch working his Bigsby. My comments about the beefy neck, etc. were directed toward NachoGrande. He is pining for a 525 and a 550 but wants a substantial neck. My 550 neck is on the thin side. so it's not a good fit for him On the other hand, your 525 fits the bill! brentrocks
love the 525 thank man! i wasnt expecting the thicker body when i got it, since it said nothing about "custom" add-ons in the listing. i do like the thinner body on a standard 525, but im really diggin this 525 for now. i was thinking, its kinda like a 575 w/ p-90s???? jazzrat
Brent, I know you have a couple other guys with dibs if you decide to sell it. Please put me in line. That configuration would be a perfect compliment to my other guitars

NoNameBand
The H 525 arrived today via FedEx. I was chomping at the bit to unvail this bad boy! When i opened up the case i found a broken high E string, but that wasnt the surprise....in the storage unit, there was the build tag from Heritage! And the first thing i saw was 5 piece neck! So that got me excited. Flipped the guitar over to find a stinger and locking Spirzels AND...then saw that is was a custom rim thickness...2 3/4 VS the stock 1 5/8 525 rim. So i take her downstairs, new strings, fret polish, cleanup, etc....and the pics..... I'm headed down to give it a good spank....break in those new Pyramids Maybe some sound clips later????? Dude, how do you do it? Awesome guitar!!! I am so jealous. You certainly have amassed a fine collection of art. Congratulations Brent, Mark

jazzrat
Dude, how do you do it? I tell ya...it's HOC karma. He puts himself out there for us and good stuff come his way as it should. That guitar is haunting me and got me trying to see what else I can sell to get one that's similar. My wife even said wow and she is pretty jaded from 30 years of guitar lunacy. For some reason she has always like guitars with whammy bars. She hates strats and guitars with that 'big plastic thingy with three other little white thingys on it." This one she likes and has me scheming....

I've never ever seen a guitar like that - what's the back - is that mahogany? Gorgeous! forgive my ignorance, but what's the significance/or advantage of a 5-piece neck?
