Henriksen JazzAmp 112ER

Jazzaliscious (Mike Busby) helped me immensely sorting out which amp made the most sense for me. He has ordered it. Now I sit tight.

I have one of the first few Henriksen Jazz Amps. It is a prototype with the backwards wired pilot (on/off) light. They were still getting a few "bugs" out at the time. Mine is not the ER model, nor does it have reverb, but it is very warm and reminiscent of the old Gibson tube amps. I sometime use a "Soulmate" stand-alone spring reverb with it, and it really opens up the sound! Great jazz amp, warm without sounding "boxey". I have a Heritage Golden Eagle thinline and a Super Eagle Kenny Burrel prototype (that Kenny actually played) that sounds really great through it. Smooth as butta! ;)

It seems like it's going to be a powerhouse of an amp...

Lots of power and able to reproduce a lot of low end and has a tweeter to keep the sound open and natural...

Great Amps! I have a 110 which replaced the first generation JazzAmp 10. Mine has reverb and sounds terrific.

I think the 12ER like you are getting Mark will be even better.

A lot of guys are raving about them for bass also.
