MIK Posted August 25, 2010 Author Posted August 25, 2010 By the way MIK, that is a beautiful guitar and I'd wager extremely rare in your country. You have every right to be proud of the rarity, beauty and capability of your new guitar. May she serve you well! oh yeah, extremely rare, and it's mine)))) there is another 157 but 1991, it is a little different like, and I'm going to compare them)))) thanks!!!
Guest mgoetting Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 He bought the beauty from a HOC listing BTW.
MIK Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 hi everyone. there this a long time I did not write about the life of my guitar, I'll try to correct his mistake. First of all, during this time I changed pickups on my beauty, and at first I just wanted to replace the bridge from sh-11 to sh-h6 and then decided that I wanted to put in a neck humb with cutoff (I do not know what it's called when humb became a single), so the sh-1 is also was replaced and I bought sh-2. After that from old pups on new pups I put cover and gold screws. when i put covers i fill into covers wax for a little, and now pups just like new. i put cutoff on both pups on 1 knob tone, now i'm very easy to using it. I handled all the graphite cavity and now my guitar issued no noise even on hi gain, only music), befor graphiting it was make some noise. That's all my mods and now i'm very happy. Some new pics So, on 23.08.11 i take on my friend Rod his new guitar Heritage H-150CM Green. It is a awesome guitar! she charmed me,befor this guitar i dont like green guitars, but green top on this Heri is just make my heart beat faster))) Actually i take it to compare them 1 on 1. this guitars are very rare in our area, but now i just play on it. soon i will make a video where i compare them. To be continued...
DetroitBlues Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 She's a beauty for sure! I haven't checked today, but, at least up until yesterday, there has been someone on the Detroit Craigslist who has an H157 BB...it's been there for weeks! He's asking $1850.00. Is that a high price? I'm not interested (prefering my H150CM instead). Weeks? Try a couple years now!!! He came down once looking for $1500, but he removed the post rather quickly. He is also trying to sell an 80's MIJ Squire contemporary for $400.
Gitfiddler Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 MIK~ Welcome to the HOC! Your excitement is totally justified by that amazing 157 Black Beauty. Play it in good health.
FredZepp Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Thanks for the update , MIK. You've done some nice changes to make it like you like it. I like splitting coils on humbuckers , it gives more tone options. And we love those photos... a couple of excellent Heritages made it to the Ukraine !

Hfan Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Hi MIK, Glad the 157 is working out for you. Sounds like your mods have worked out well. I love mine, couldn't resist adding a picture of her with her sunsetburst cousin. My 157 probably gets the most playing time of all my Heritages. Remember to spread the Heritage gospel over there.

PSP is the annual Parsons Street Pilgramage where all the Heritage fans gather to tour the Heritage factory, then spend two days trying to coax something that sounds like music out of our lovely guitars. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/forum/23-2012-parsons-street-pilgrimage-psp-v/
