Many Thanks Josh!

Ditto! Big Thanks to Josh for helping organize the event & make it happen.

I'm glad I made it out after all: it was a lot of fun, and great to see everybody again.

Three cheers for DetroitBlues!!!  It felt SO good to see the faithful in the flesh.  Subdominant yet noteworthy, kudos to all the out-of-towners who braved the $4.50 gas and orange cones to make it.  I think Doug was the only pseudo-local guy who showed up.  'Twas additionally heartwarming to have Heritage embrace the HOC after years of shunning us; It was unexpectantly pleasant.  Seeing the Heritage craftsmen at the VFW made it reminiscent of the good, old days.

And then there was FredZepp...

Absolutely on point, Herr Steiner.  It makes you feel special when Pete and Ren greet you by name before you even put on the name tag.  Pete stayed until the last minute and was nothing but grateful that we came together and included the factory folks in the event.   There were lots of really neat guitars hanging on the walls.   I got to actually play a bit on the couple of custom cores and some Harmonys.   It was interesting to see how they have divided up areas to separate the woodworking from the finishing, to keep dust from contaminating the polishing.  The whole crew were great.

It was nice to meeting Matthew Quail from Throbak who joined us for the tour..

Did anyone ask about the stack?   There's all the scaffolding around it, and piles of brick across the street in the parking lot.   It doesn't look like Plaza has done much with the old building, but the back area is going full steam ahead with Heritage adding some additional footage.  I wonder if the current economic environment has slowed things down.

Oh yeah, it was nice to see some of the Heritage crew show up at VFW, and share a brew, chat etc

They had a tasty local IPA on tap inside

Josh, you are a saint. Well, not really. But thanks for all you do and thanks for organizing PSP. It was a good time and a good chance to see you all again.

From what I last read, Gibson is suing Plaza Corp about putting the Stack back together with the "Gibson" on it.

I'm most definitely not a Saint.  I always enjoy doing this for everyone.  Things didn't go as expected, namely the venue and accommodations, but that will have to change for next year.

I actually enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn across the interstate. Nice place with decent breakfast. I intend to stay there again next year.

Thank you Josh! You did an amazing job again, even with the rather small turnout. Seeing the enthusiasm from Ren, Pete, Dan, Mike and the plant crew at Heritage was great and kinda felt like the old days. I enjoyed playing on Rods drum kit until my shoulder gave out. Also it was really nice to see Ray Peacock show up and I enjoyed jamming with him.  Dave, Steiner, Monica, Fred and Richard were all  fun to hang with!!! Josh’s son Evan seemed to enjoy himself too.
