Anyone ever hear of this model?

Kai Hansen is a metal player who preferred pink, pointy guitars.  The one for sale was likely a one-off custom order back in the days when Heritage would build just about anything a customer could dream up as long as it was based on their core models.

But a pink H157 with a repaired headstock break for 'only' $4k!!  Nope.

Here's an old photo and HOC thread about Kai Hansen:

Totally agree - 4k with a repaired headstock?! Uhhhhh.........no

"Signature" guitars really don't impress me,   unless it was played by Hendrix or Clapton, and even then, it would just be a fun thing to have, not something that I really add a bunch of value.   I've never heard of Kai Hansen, so that means $0 added value.   Headstock repair is -$$$ value.   I've got an H157 that cost me over $1500 less brand new, doesn't have a cracked headstock and doesn't look like it belongs in the Barbie movie!

?

Are you kidding me?  Why it's "practically mint in most ways" and there is still plastic wrap on the pickguard - literally one-of-a-kind.  Truly a bargain at $4k!

The amount of spin in this ad is almost comical; even the issue plagued barrell jack is described as "a really cool flush input jack"

?

Every Heritage Signature guitar that I have seen from that era would have had the "signature" name within the headstock area and not on a truss rod cover.

Also I believe it would have had a special serial number denoting the series.

hi all, new member here. Already own a beautiful 2012 H-150 in dirty lemon.

About the guitar of this chain: the seller ended up lowering the price by half and even accepted an offer from me on the lowered price. This guitar is coming my way. I have a thing with Heritage and also with questionable guitar colors, such as pink ?.

I don’t think it is a Kai Hansen signature indeed, as it does not seem that they actually made one. The guitar has been shipped from Germany, which matches a bit the history told in the other post about a Kai Hansen guitar or signature.

I have an ongoing conversation with Heritage through their support and they seemed surprised about that guitar. I am to send them more pictures when it arrives and I’ll post here if there are any more findings.

Pepto Pink is a great color on the right instrument. I once lusted (mightily) after a pepto pink Kubicki Ex Factor 4 that Kim from Ovation (guitars) had picked up somewhere. It was original from the factory in that color and sounded as good as it looked. Post more pics when you get it in hand!

Highly doubtful the new heritage employees or management would have any accurate knowledge of such builds. Interesting never the less. Enjoy.

The guy from heritage support gave me a spec sheet that’s totally accurate to what I see in the picture. Maybe they are good on keeping records. Let us see when the guitar arrives..

Wow, that sucks big time!

You would think that by now there would be a proven method of packing the headstock so that it can't be broken, even if it was dropped.
