2023 PSP Videos

 Finally listened to it on something other than my phone: that sounds really good, how did you record it?

I never noticed all those mics up there, did you multitrack it too?

Nice playing by everybody! And great leads Josh! I remember getting into some fun grooves with Slammer too on a few songs.

Didn't you see the massive recording console 6 feet behind you?  ?

Yeah,   I use my Zoom R24 to record the instruments, then feed the PA mix into a separate channel.    The audio from my video camera just stinks.   Maybe I just don't know how to set it, because when Fred did some of his recordings, they sounded decent.  

Anyway,  I've got a half dozen more videos done,  and they are going up to Youtube as I type this.   I'll post them once Youtube gets finished doing it's thing.  

 
... and why did you play first?    Usually the headliner closes the show.   Hey time flies when you are having fun.

I have another 5 or 6 songs to mix, but because the players changed,   I need to mix the songs differently.   With the first set,  I pretty much set the levels for the whole batch, and then sliced up the video into individual songs.    It really sped up the process.

Next time I'll actually learn some songs. You guys all sounded great!

One last video... this was the closing number.    I had to do a bit of an edit because the video changed files and it left about a 4 second gap between the two files right at the end.

I knew a lot of the folks at PSP, but never got the name of the fellow in red with the H575.    Can anyone fill me in on his name or handle?

 
Haven't had a chance to check out all these new videos yet, but thanks for recording/filming/editing & uploading them!
