95 Heritage Golden Eagle on Reverb in Ohio - $1800

Weighing in belatedly...this was a scam account on Reverb. This was listed by the actual owner (kel_938610, aka Kansas Dan's Guitars) on eBay, this Spring and into the Summer, for ~$5,500. I corresponded with him about this and another Golden (1986) that he had listed. I wound up buying the '86, but looked hard at this one. He was great to deal with, we corresponded a fair amount about these two. He doesn't sell on Reverb, due to their high commission.

If you search for Kansas Dan's guitars for sale, they all have the same background as this scammed one: ebay.com/str/kansasdansguitars . As of today's date, the scammer's Reverb account has been "disabled".

Cheers,

Latham

P.S. the '86 Golden Eagle is wonderful, the 38th produced by Heritage. A few years ago I owned a '96 575, I'm thrilled to have a Heritage in my arms again :^)

Thanks for the feedback on the scam listing.  It's always best to proceed with caution when dealing with online sales.  Congrats on your Golden Eagle!  I love mine!  Enjoy yours!

People, please be aware of red flags when looking at ‘for sale’ listings - the more red flags, the more likely the listing is bogus. This listing had multiple red flags including:

* Seller with zero prior sales.

* Highly desirable instrument, produced in limited numbers, etc.

* Asking price is well below market value.

* Suspect verbiage in listing. For example:  poorly constructed sentences, rambling, clumsy phrases, inconsistencies, missing details, strange abbreviations, etc.

If none of this makes sense, please reach out to me directly - I have lovely beach front parcel in nebraska i want to sell. Actually its one of several props in the midwest with beachfront locations that are available I need to sell to fund my retirementnext year. The locations are all secluded and private.
