I owned one of the original run of these, in trans cherry finish. Was a great player; had its own thing going on. Sold it to a recording musician/session guy in TX, and FedEx blew it up on the way. Such a shame. Great looking guitar!

Last year I swapped out the small diameter Vol/Tone knobs for larger 'speed knobs'.  Much better IMHO.

Both sets will be included in the sale of this cool guitar.

I have one of these and think it's my best sounding electric. It is capable of anything from rich mellowness to snarling, wicked raunch.  My only criticisms are that the control cavity isn't shielded, so there's a decent amount of hum, and as with my Tele, I rub my forearm when playing seated. Changing to larger speed knobs is a good idea.

Thanks for the ASAT endorsement.  I use an EH Hum Debugger pedal for all of my single coil/P-90 gits.
