With the recent Website complication photographs were no longer available so I am reposting.
The time has come for Generic Music to thin the herd. For your consideration is my Heritage Kenny Burrell Freedom amplifier. I am asking $1,200. I will not be shipping it. If you are interested, private message me and we will discuss the particulars. I live in W. Michigan and am willing to travel an hour or two for the trade.
Kenny Burrell requested that Heritage Amplification build an amplifier for the working musician. Thus the Heritage Kenny Burrell Freedom Amplifier is nothing less than a stellar piece of equipment. This is a CLEAN amp, with lots of head room. It is a first generation Heritage amplifier and is in near mint condition with very little playing hours on it. A custom made cover is included. The amp produces a warm round tone that allows the player to dial in the perfect sound. It is a great jazz amp. The interactive tone controls allow the Jazz player to cover sounds ranging from classic "Arch-top" jazz guitar sounds to more modern tones. However the voicing of the amp is well suited to other styles of music. I have used it in both serf and rockabilly situations. The control panel is as follows; Bright Switch: A three position switch which, in conjunction with the treble control, allows the player to tune the treble frequencies to better match the type of guitar and pickup position used. The middle position is off. The lower switch setting is a little brighter, while the higher setting is very bright . This can be just the thing to add life and sparkle to a dark neck pickup. The volume knob controls the overall volume/gain of the amplifier. Treble controls the high frequencies, middle control adjusts the mid frequencies, bass adjusts the low-end frequencies, and the reverb adjusts the reverb signal. The back panel has a 3 amp fuse port, bias pot and test points, speaker jacks are 2, 4 and 8 ohm. The internal speaker is 8 ohm. If one would like to use an extension speaker cabinet the internal speaker must be disconnected. The "Kenny Burrell Freedom" weighs just 40 pounds and provides 45 watts of American Tube Amp sonic power through a pair of 6L6's driving a single 12" speaker.
