@Millennium Maestro...Guy, I'm not familiar with the "Custom" version.  It wasn't listed in the old Heritage catalogues.  Was that a model that came out post-2000?

The Eagle Custom has a Fingers Tailpiece, with MOP split blocks, upgraded bindings and looks like this one was a Seths pickup build.  Eagle has Abalone inlays

That store looks like they are prety proud with their prices. They have a 1972 LP Deluxe that has been routed for humbuckers for $7200. I'll pass!

This is a small issue that happened back then a lot and is annoying.  The tuners aren't straight.  It is not hard to mount them correctly.  You start with the lower two.  Put the tuners in and place a block or a straight edge on the top edge of the tuners to assure they are lined up.  Then drill the holes and put in the screws.  Next, go to the next level.  Etc.
