Special Invitation To New Members

Greetings Heritage Guitar! My name is Chris, I live on the west coast and this is my first post. After more than a decade of wishing I have at last acquired one of your fine instruments, and I am happy to report it has more than lived up to my expectations. I am proud to at last own one of your beautiful guitars! Thank you! :hello:

Hopefully this picture posts correctly....(newb alert!)

Nice one . Welcome to the HOC.

Hey my name's Eric, I go by greatmutah here and on other forums. I'm from SE Michigan. I don't own a Heritage yet but I'm in the market for one and I'm checking out some options (H140/150/157s). I figured since this seems to be the place that knows the most about them I'd join up here. Also, I should mention that of my current guitars I've had a couple Gibson Les Pauls (still have my Studio) and I've always loved those guitars but knowing the history of that company and the fact that these are made in my home state like Gibson used to be, well, I've become very interested. Always wanted to play one and never have. So I'm definitely looking forward to checking them out.

Welcome aboard Eric! You will find this forum a friendly place loaded with great people that love their Heritage Guitars.

What kind of music do you enjoy and play?

Harder rock and some heavy metal in particular, but I'll listen to anything. Plus the rock and metal I like is older rock and metal. Not much newer stuff I care for.

New guy here. Been lurking and looking for my first Heritage. Been Gibson and Fender all my life.

Hi everyone! Just joined!

Looks like I'll be the new owner of a H150 later today so thought it would be a good idea to join and learn more about the H150😎 I'll admit I don't know much about Heritage guitars but I read the history and sounds promising!

I was on the lookout for a LP Standard and stumbled on a Kijiji ad with a guy looking to trade his 150 for a specific Martin 000 to replace the one he regrets selling...which I happen to have...so I offered the trade and here I am.

Apparently it's a 9.99999/10 mint 2010 H150 amber burst. He thinks pups are Slash. I'm hoping its a 10 pounder😀 I have very limited info on this trade or the guitar, just a blurry cell phone pic and his word it's mint with case and unsigned warranty card and his promises I WON'T be disappointed.

Taking a leap of faith and hoping this is a good axe!

I play hard rock and metal \m/

Cheers from T.Dot!

Cam
